Maryanne Kuzara

Producer/Director

Maryanne has earned several degrees in communications and behavior studies and has had a diverse career in both fields. She has worked as producer, director and editor at broadcast news stations across the country and has been nominated for several Emmy Awards. In addition, Maryanne has worked in private practice as a psychotherapist, often working with children and families under extreme duress. Her psychological studies have helped her bring a humanistic touch to the projects she produces. Maryanne is currently a producer/director/editor for Media in Motion Video and a professor at The University of Phoenix. Maryanne has worked on several mini documentaries on topics that include; homeless mothers and their children and orphans in Haiti. She is currently co producing and editing a full length documentary on the arts in Laguna Beach. It has been Maryanne’s passion to focus her talents on documentaries of social importance. When asked what inspired this project she said, “Children are the silent victims of the economic crisis in our country. When I look into the eyes of these children, I know I must do something to help them.”

Spencer O'Hara

Co-Producer/Editor

Spencer graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Television and Broadcast Journalism. He began to study the violin at age 10 and built his first computer when only 12 years old. Spencer discovered video editing while in high school, and immediately recognized it as a medium to combine his artistic and technological abilities.

He edited his first documentary about life in Mali, Africa his very first semester at Chapman. He has been a Technical Producer and editor for a late night talk show in Orange County, a Head News Editor and Media Manager for KDOC in the LA market, and a Co-Producer/Editor for an online entertainment web show called "The Juice" for the Orange County Register. Spencer has a passion for social issues, and strives to positively impact others through his talents. When learning about the scope and reach of this project he had three words: "Sign me up!"
